Lover... of sea... in the Shadow of the rocks?
Yes! Our great poet Nikos Kavvadias - sea lover
for all of us - staged for one night, last Tuesday, in
the shadow of the Rocks in a performance of the heart
that carried him from the beginning trought the end...
The exquisite set of Nikos Petropoulos- made you believe
that you were in the sea and tasted the salt- embraced
this inspired show and offered us a great journey. A
full... theatre with all of them that wished to
travel trough the precious poetry of Kavvadias. The show
directed from Vasili Lazaridi gave us ungrudgingly that
"trip" and that had to do with the contribution
of Petropoulos in the set design, Kandyle in Choreography
and Chrisoulis, Kanousis in dramatisation. Strong
Point of the show..., the
participation of Giannis Koutras, that singed splendidly
Nikos Kavvadias in the music of Mikroutsikos- Spanos-
Koh, and gaining a strong applause in each song from the
audience that whispered with him the songs. Smashing
... great acting. Thanos Kanousis and Takis Chrisoulis carry off
admirably the poet in youth the first and maturity the
second, Nikos Grizanis, Melina Papanestoros, and Vagelis
Drougas, had greate scenes, while Alice
Katsavou made a difference with her truth. But Haris
Aronis stolen the show, with his part of the deck-boy and
made us all laugh. Remember his name.
